Protan offers flat roof solutions that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and meet the requirements of BREEAM standards. Protan’s goal is to make its flat roof products and solutions higher quality and more durable, while ensuring the least impact on the climate compared to similar products on the market. In Estonia, buildings using Protan flat roof solutions have received BREEAM-NOR certification: Kristiine Center, \u00dclemiste Venter, buildings Niidu tee 1 and 3 in Harjumaa.<\/p>\n

Protan assures that it can reduce greenhouse gas emissions with its flat roof system solutions by 30 to 70% compared to alternative technologies, depending on the solutions used in the building and the designed lifetime.<\/p>\n

Using the Protan BlueProof solution, the time for rainwater drainage from the roof of the building is extended up to 24 hours, which significantly reduces the amount of water entering the rainwater collector at the same time. Such flexibility is especially important during torrential rains. With the combined effect of several factors, it can reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 90%. <\/p>\n
