Thermal insulation materials

Mineral wool

Mineral wool (rock wool, glass wool) is an insulating material used in a wide variety of applications. We offer a wide range of different mineral wool from recognised manufacturers.

Mineral wool properties:
  • good heat retention
  • high fire resistance
  • retains its dimensions even in the event of large changes in temperature and humidity.
  • elasticity (soft wools)
  • compressive strength (rigid rock wool)
  • sound insulation (in wall and floor constructions)
  • good workability low moisture absorption
  • environmentally safe natural product

EPS insulation materials

EPS products are used for flat roofs with different load-bearing structures, such as reinforced concrete, metal profiles and wooden panels. EPS insulation boards are used both for insulating flat roofs and for sloping roofs. The products are suitable for insulating both new and existing roofs.

EPS insulation boards should be installed in two layers, avoiding overlapping joints between the different layers. Depending on the roll material of the roofing, a thin layer of hard mineral wool insulation may be installed on top of the EPS insulation. Depending on the roof substructure, the thickness of the insulation layers and the specificities of the building and roof, products with different strength classes are used.

EPS 60 products are mainly used for insulating flat roofs. For terraces, balconies and other exposed roof slabs, EPS 100 and EPS 200 are recommended.

You will find a range of high quality Reiden EPS insulation materials, such as:

  • EPS 60
  • EPS 60 Silver
  • EPS 100
  • EPS 200

Positive features of EPS

EPS insulating materials are easy to transport and lift onto roof slabs.

The materials have a high load resistance (above 50 kPa) that cannot be achieved with wool insulation.

EPS does not get wet, so rain and snow during construction will not affect the properties of the material. There is no need to dry the material before installing the roof covering.

EPS insulation material can be used for the construction of roof slopes.

Installation is quick and convenient, with no additional structures required. Roof insulation tiles are cut to size in the factory to the exact slope specified in the design.

The rigidity of the material allows the insulation material to give the roof the slope specified in the design.

For roof insulation, the customer can be offered tiles of the required thickness and in different sizes.

PIR insulation materials

PIR insulation boards are renowned for their excellent thermal insulation properties, designed to reduce heat loss in winter and heat penetration in summer, making the whole building more energy efficient and reducing heating and cooling costs.

Maleko offers high quality PIR insulation boards that meet the highest standards. Our team is ready to advise you and help you find the best solution for your construction needs.

You’ll find a range of Recticel insulation boards, such as:

  • Eurothane® Silver E
  • Eurothane® Bi-4
